    Job Summary

    East Florida Premium Medical Care is seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Associate to join our outpatient healthcare team. This position serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors and plays an essential role in creating a welcoming and efficient clinical environment.

    The Front Desk Associate will be responsible for patient check-in and check-out, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and maintaining accurate patient information within the electronic health record (EHR). The ideal candidate demonstrates strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks in a fast-paced medical office.

    Responsibilities

    Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.

    Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring all required documentation is completed.

    Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments using the clinic’s scheduling system.

    Verify insurance coverage and collect copayments or other required patient payments.

    Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information within the electronic health record system.

    Answer and direct incoming phone calls while providing clear information regarding services, appointments, and office policies.

    Assist patients with forms and administrative questions when needed.

    Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure patient confidentiality at all times.

    Collaborate with clinical staff and providers to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient office operations.

    Qualifications

    Previous medical office or front desk experience preferred.

    Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is an advantage.

    Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

    Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

    Attention to detail and accuracy when handling patient information.

    Ability to work in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
