JOB OVERVIEW:
Handles the day-to-day responsibilities associated with accommodating guests' arrivals, departures and requirements at the main desk of the establishment. This position requires working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The Front Desk Associate will have: a high school diploma or GED equivalent, and/or some related experience in customer service, organizational and time management skills, effective communication skills, and exceptional customer service skills.
OTHER JOB DUTIES:
Greets, registers and assigns rooms to guests.
Issues room keys or cards.
Answers incoming telephone calls.
Schedules, cancels and confirms reservations.
Transmits and/or receives messages.
Keeps records of occupied and vacant rooms and guests' accounts.
Processes payments.
Confers with staff members to assist guests as needed.
Answers inquiries pertaining to lodge services and area attractions.
· Handles guest complaints or concerns.
· Keeps the front desk/retail area clean, stocked and presentable
