    Location: Village Home Stores – Downtown Geneseo, IL Availability: Part-time

    Schedule: TBD within M–F 8:30 am–5:00 pm | Select Saturdays 8:30 am–12:00 pm | No Nights | No Sundays

    About the Role:

    The Front Desk Associate is the first impression of Village Home Stores. This role is ideal for someone with outstanding people skills who enjoys creating a welcoming, organized, and professional environment. You will greet showroom visitors, manage incoming calls, and support our sales team with day-to-day showroom tasks.

    Key Responsibilities

    Serve as the first point of contact for customers, industry professionals, and vendors, in person, by phone, and online.

    Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and directing inquiries appropriately.

    Confirm and welcome customers to scheduled showroom appointments.

    Assist with tracking and receiving product for select departments.

    Pull bulb packages, under-cabinet lighting, switches, outlets, and stock inventory.

    Assist with labeling and organizing incoming window treatment jobs.

    Update light fixture and window treatment tags in the showroom and create tags for new products.

    Support showroom organization and merchandising efforts.

    Perform additional administrative and cross-trained duties as needed to support the team.
