About the Role:

The Learning Experience #427 in Houston, TX is looking for a friendly and organized Front Desk Clerk to be the welcoming face of our center! This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that is passionate about early childhood education and making a difference in the lives of families every day.

Responsibilities:

Greet families, children, and visitors warmly upon arrival and departure

Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and inquiries in a professional manner

Manage student check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently

Maintain and organize front desk records, enrollment paperwork, and administrative files

Support center directors and staff with scheduling, communications, and daily operations

Handle tuition payments, receipts, and basic billing transactions

Ensure the front lobby and reception area remain clean, organized, and welcoming

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Prior front desk, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, child-centered environment

Warm, professional demeanor with a passion for working around children and families

Must pass required background checks per state childcare regulations
