About the Role:

The Smile Center of Columbus NJ is looking for a friendly and organized Front Desk team member to be the welcoming face of our dental practice! Responsibilities:

Greet and check in patients with a warm, professional demeanor

Answer incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage appointment scheduling

Verify dental insurance benefits and process patient billing and co-pays

Maintain and update accurate patient records in the practice management system

Coordinate patient flow and communicate with clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations

Handle patient correspondence, appointment reminders, and follow-up communications

Manage front office administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and office supply inventory

Requirements:

Prior dental or medical front office experience preferred

Familiarity with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar) a plus

Knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing processes

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a patient-first attitude

Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in basic computer applications and office technology

Reliable, punctual, and a collaborative team player
