Our client, a multi-specialty healthcare clinic, is seeking a highly organized and personable Front Desk Manager with strong experience in patient relations and front office operations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising the front desk team, ensuring the smooth coordination between departments, maintaining accurate patient data, and delivering exceptional service to every patient who walks through the door.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise front desk reception staff, ensuring professional and courteous service at all times.
- Act as the primary liaison between the front desk and other departments such as Dental, Medical, and Physical Therapy to resolve issues and maintain service continuity.
- Monitor and ensure accurate collection and entry of patient demographic and insurance data into electronic systems.
- Oversee and coordinate front desk staff training, onboarding, and continued education.
- Manage schedule coordination and ensure proper staff coverage during provider absences or schedule changes.
- Proactively address patient concerns or complaints to enhance satisfaction and resolve conflicts.
- Maintain compliance with organizational policies and procedures, including cooperation with the compliance program and standards of conduct.
- Participate in performance evaluations and disciplinary actions when necessary to uphold performance and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in front office management within a medical or dental environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with proven experience supervising teams.
- Proficient in managing patient data, insurance information, and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with cross-departmental coordination in a clinical setting.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and department heads.
- Demonstrated ability to train and develop front desk staff to meet organizational goals.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies.
