TURQUOISE PLACE FRONT DESK MANAGER
The Front Desk Manager is responsible for supporting the Front Desk, team by ensuring a high level of team and guest satisfaction, maintaining a safe and productive work environment, and promoting Spectrum values.
Job Duties:
Supervise the Front Desk team to include scheduling, hiring, training, discipline, etc.
Oversee preparation of daily activities/duties of Front Desk.
Oversee the completion of checklists; audit checklists for accuracy
Ensure guest arrival/departure information is prepared.
Assist team with checking guests in/out and other duties as needed
Audit daily reports from Front Desk to ensure proper check/cash handling and daily reports are balanced
Ensure that calls are answered promptly and courteously.
Assist with problem resolution
Maintain good communication between departments
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of Front Desk experience, required
Minimum of 1 year of supervisory/management experience, required
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication.
Must have above average computer skills with Microsoft Office programs knowledge and the ability to learn property-specific systems.
Must have excellent team leadership and developmental skills
Must be able to encourage a positive attitude in all team members.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand/walk for entire shift
Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch
Must be able to lift/move up to 25 lbs. as needed
