  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a friendly, dependable Front Desk / Medical Assistant to join our close-knit team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships with patients, thrives in a smaller practice setting, and is comfortable balancing both administrative and clinical responsibilities. You will be a key part of the patient experience from the first phone call to the end of each visit.

    Front Desk Responsibilities

    Welcome patients with warmth and professionalism, both in person and on the phone

    Schedule appointments

    Check patients in and out, verify demographics and insurance, and collect co-pays

    Answer phones, patient portal messages, and emails in a timely, compassionate manner

    Maintain accurate patient records in our EMR system

    Assist with referrals, prior authorizations, and incoming/outgoing paperwork

    Protect patient privacy and maintain HIPAA compliance at all times

    Clinical Responsibilities

    Prepare exam rooms and ensure a clean, organized clinical environment

    Take and record vital signs and patient histories

    Assist providers during exams and procedures, including pap smears, pelvic exams, prenatal visits, and minor procedures

    Perform pregnancy tests, urine dips, and other testing as directed

    Collect and properly label lab specimens

    Provide patients with basic education and post-visit instructions

    Stock and maintain medical supplies

    What We’re Looking For

    High school diploma or equivalent required

    Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA/RMA)

    Prior experience in an OB/GYN or women’s health setting is a required

    Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment

    Friendly, calm, and professional demeanor

    Strong communication and organizational skills

    EMR experience preferred

    Spanish/Bilingual is a plus
