This Isn't a Typical Front Desk Job
At D1 Training South Lakeland, the front desk is the heartbeat of the facility. You're not just checking people in — you're setting the tone, building relationships, and making sure every member walks out feeling like they belong here.
We train youth athletes, adults, and competitive teams. Our coaches are serious about results. We need someone at the front who matches that energy and takes just as much pride in the member experience as the coaches do on the floor.

What You'll Actually Be Doing
High-energy, enthusiastic, and positive person to join our team as the first person our members see when arriving at the facility. Must be comfortable talking with members of all ages. You will help create a welcoming, organized, and professional environment every single shift.
Member Experience
Greet members by name and make them feel like regulars from day one
Manage check-ins and keep class flow smooth during busy windows
Be the go-to person for questions, concerns, and first impressions
Build positive relationships with athletes, parents, and adult members
Front Desk Operations
Process memberships, transactions, and retail sales
Handle incoming calls and inquiries quickly and professionally
Manage scheduling, appointment confirmations, and daily organization
Help maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready facility
Social Media & Community Support
Capture real moments — workouts, wins, and behind-the-scenes energy
Help support social media content by taking photos/videos and sharing authentic moments from the facility
Help tell the story of D1 South Lakeland from the inside
Facility Standards
Keep the lobby, turf, and common areas clean and guest-ready at all times
Restock drinks, snacks, and merchandise
Support opening and closing procedures
Who We're Looking For
You don't need a fitness certification or a background in sales. But you do need to show up on time, bring energy, and care about doing the job right.
The best fit for this role is someone who:
Is naturally good with people and comfortable starting conversations
Stays organized and calm when multiple things are happening at once
Takes ownership — if something needs to be done, you do it without being asked
Is coachable and open to feedback
Has a genuine interest in fitness, sports, or athletic performance
Brings both professionalism and positive energy to every shift
Is reliable, punctual, and consistent
Schedule
This is a part-time role built around our peak operating hours, especially afternoons, evenings, and Saturday mornings.
Afternoon/evening availability is strongly preferred
Morning availability is a plus
Saturday morning availability required
Consistency and reliability matter here. We are looking for someone who can consistently show up with energy and professionalism.
Compensation & Perks
$14-15 per hour
