About Us:
Novastar Kids Co provides private educational service to children ages six weeks to fourteen
years. The service includes child care, preschool, kindergarten, elementary through
secondary education, summer camps, special events, enrichment classes, and after-school
program. The foundation of our service is the continuity of care and education.

About the Role:
Join Novastar Kids Co as a Front Desk Office Manager and be the welcoming face of our
childcare center! We are passionate about creating a supportive environment for children
and families, and we're looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm for exceptional
customer service and operational excellence. In this role, you will manage front desk
operations, support our administrative team, and ensure every family feels valued from the
moment they walk through our doors.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome families, visitors, and staff in a professional and friendly manner.
• Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries in a timely
manner.
• Manage the sign-in and sign-out process for students, staff, and visitors.
• Conduct center tours and orientation for prospective families.
• Address parent inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally, escalating issues
as needed.
• Provide administrative support to the Director and leadership team.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
• Maintain and organize filing systems, both physical and electronic.
• Schedule appointments, meetings, and coordinate calendars for center leadership.
• Process and maintain enrollment paperwork and student records.
• Monitor and order office supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local childcare regulations.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor degree in Business
Administration or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of front desk or office administration experience.
• Colorado Department of Human Services Early Childhood Teacher Certification.
• Colorado Shines PDIS Level 2.0.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse families and staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office
equipment.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Positive attitude and a passion for working with children and families.
• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.
