    Minnesota Center for Psychology is a private group practice clinic that offers mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults.     Job Summary:

    The Front Desk Receptionist is knowledgeable about and adheres to the Minnesota Center for Psychology’s (MCP) procedures while providing clients with an excellent customer service experience.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    Daily Basis

    Adhere to federal HIPAA laws and understanding how they are used at MCP

    Interacting with clinicians, staff, and clients via phone, email correspondence, and in person

    Scheduling new and current clients

    Receiving and entering client payments

    Opening, maintaining, and closing the front desk and lobby areas

    Weekly Basis

    Supporting new and existing clients with the functionality of the clinic’s patient portal

    Mailing, scanning, uploading, and faxing documents

    Aiding in receiving and sending records requests via email, mail, and/or fax

    Collaborating with other front desk staff to keep the office organized, stocked, areas clean and sanitized, and files updated

    Assisting with administrative projects and performs other related duties as assigned

    Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

    Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when needed

    Strong problem-solving skills

    Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment

    Preferred Education and Experience:

    One to two years of experience working in a customer service position in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the mental health or healthcare field

    Completed or in-progress Bachelor’s degree, preferably in psychology, mental health, or the healthcare field

    Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

    Experience with an Electronic Health Records (EHR) or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system

    Physical Requirements:

    Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

    Employee Information & Benefits:

    The pay is $15 per hour during the probationary/training (about 8-10 weeks), after which it is increased to $16 per hour

    This position is part-time – approximately 15-20 hours per week
