    Position Overview

    We are seeking a reliable and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for our patients and plays a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations while maintaining a clean, organized, and professional office environment.

    Schedule

    • Monday 8:30 - 12:30
    • Tuesday 7:30 - 12:30
    • Wednesday 6:30 - 12:30
    • Friday 6:30 - 2

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive experience
    • Schedule patient appointments accurately using EHR systems
    • Verify insurance coverage and perform eligibility checks (including Medicare and commercial payers)
    • Collect and process co-pays, payments, and outstanding balances
    • Maintain accurate patient records and update information in EMR systems
    • Assist with patient intake, including medical history and documentation updates
    • Answer multi-line phone systems with professionalism and efficiency
    • Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and managing office supplies
    • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations at all times
    • Coordinate with clinical staff to support scheduling and workflow
    • Maintain a clean and organized front office and common areas, including light cleaning and restocking supplies
    • Demonstrate the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience as a medical receptionist or similar administrative role preferred
    • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems strongly preferred
    • Experience with insurance verification (Medicare and commercial plans)
    • Strong clerical, organizational, and multitasking skills
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion (HIPAA compliance)
    • Experience in a chiropractic or physical therapy setting is a plus
    • Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
