    About the Role

    The Front Desk Receptionist is often the first point of contact for our patients, families, and community partners. We are looking for someone who can create a positive first impression, support smooth clinic operations, and help patients feel cared for from the moment they walk in or call.

    This position plays a key part in keeping the front office organized, efficient, and aligned with Innovative Medical Group’s high standards of patient experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    Warmly welcome patients and visitors upon arrival

    Check patients in and out with accuracy and professionalism

    Verify demographics and ensure chart information is updated

    Guide patients through intake forms, referrals, and follow-up instructions

    Manage high-volume incoming calls with grace and clear communication

    Schedule and confirm appointments across multiple providers and services

    Route messages and requests promptly to the appropriate team members

    Maintain a calm and supportive tone even during busy call periods

    Ensure the front office remains organized, clean, and patient-ready

    Monitor waiting room flow and support timely rooming by clinical staff

    Maintain daily operational checklists and support administrative tasks

    Assist with other office duties

    Support coordination between providers, clinical staff, and patients

    Participate in improving processes that enhance clinic efficiency

    Qualifications

    Required

    Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered approach

    Ability to handle multi-line phones and high-call volume

    Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor

    Comfortable learning new systems and multitasking in a busy environment

    Basic computer proficiency

    Preferred Requirements

    Prior experience in a medical office or customer service

    Familiarity with electronic medical records

    Part Time Some Weekends will be required
