    Your Role: Front Desk Representative As the first person patients encounter, your presence sets the tone for their entire visit. In this role, you’ll create a welcoming and professional environment while supporting daily front office operations that ensure every patient receives timely, compassionate care.

    What You’ll Do

    Welcome all patients and visitors with warmth, courtesy, and professionalism.

    Answer and route phone calls, addressing inquiries with patience and empathy.

    Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments; provide necessary visit information.

    Collect copays and payments, verify insurance, and update patient records.

    Conduct interviews for sliding fee scale eligibility and document appropriately.

    Assist patients with medical assistance applications and related paperwork.

    Manage incoming medication shipments and coordinate pickup notifications.

    Maintain a clean and organized reception area and waiting room.

    Document interactions accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

    Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies.

    Cross-train with other front desk functions to provide team coverage and flexibility.

    Respond to patient concerns with grace and problem-solving efficiency.

    Experience in a medical office or customer service role is a plus.

    Familiarity with EMR systems and insurance verification preferred.

    Confidence in handling financial transactions and daily reconciliations.

    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
