Job Summary: As the first point of contact for our patients, you will manage front desk operations, assist with scheduling, and ensure smooth communication between patients, providers, and staff. Fluency in English and Spanish is required to serve our diverse patient population effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly and check them in/out for appointments.
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries.
Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays/deductibles.
Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
Translate basic medical information between patients and providers as needed.
Assist with administrative tasks (filing, faxing, data entry, prior authorizations, scheduling specialist appointments).
Handle patient concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary.
Qualifications:
Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
1+ years of front desk/reception experience in a medical office.
Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance, and EHR systems is a plus.
Strong customer service, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
