    Perks and Benefits:

    Competitive hourly base pay, plus tips; sales bonuses

    Total Compensation - $23-30/hr.

    Base pay is $18- $21 an hour.

    Can expect $5.00-$6.00 additional per hour based on tips

    About the Position:

    As a Membership Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for customers, responsible for selling memberships, building relationships, and delivering an exceptional experience. This role is ideal for someone who is motivated, coachable, and eager to grow into a leadership position. We believe in career development, and top performers in this role will have the opportunity to advance into management as we continue to expand.

    This position requires:

    Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

    Customer service experience (retail, hospitality, or related industry).

    Comfort working with dogs and educating customers on pet health.

    Proficiency in basic technology and POS systems.

    Reliable transportation and willingness to work in a smoke-free environment.

    Tasks:

    Drive membership sales by educating dog parents on the benefits of routine wellness care.

    Proactively engage customers to promote memberships, service add-ons, and retail products.

    Develop and follow up on leads, converting potential customers into loyal members.

    Achieve and exceed sales goals, including key performance indicators (KPIs) such as average ticket price and rebook ratios.

    Maintain expert knowledge of Scenthound services and retail products to effectively communicate value to customers.

    Handle front desk operations, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing customer records.

    Process transactions, manage the cash drawer, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

    Deliver an exceptional customer experience, addressing concerns, overcoming objections, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

    Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional environment.

    Skills and Abilities:

    Confidence in selling services and products

    Ability to connect with customers (both canine and human!) and provide outstanding customer service

    Ability to learn our products and services to educate the dog parents; speak to our values and culture as the basis for our services

    Effective communication with team members and dog parents (in person and on the phone)

    Independently solve problems using Scenthound values and culture as a guide
