Resort Front Desk Supervisor One of the desert’s premier hot springs resort and busy day spas is seeking a mature, dynamic leader for front desk supervisor.
The ideal candidate will possess a high commitment to guest satisfaction and service, maintain a courteous and professional manner, a positive attitude, exhibit a willingness to help and promote positive interactions with guests. He or she will lead all guest service agents by example, monitor performance, recommend and initiate corrective action. He or she will excel in problem solving while supervising our busy front desk receiving as many as 100 guests a day. In this fun, faced paced environment, he or she will be an observant self-starter who can provide friendly, high-quality service to guests. Traits we love:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Accountable for maintaining the highest level of knowledge of all aspects of the spa experience within their team.
Ensuring that knowledge is leveraged in creating/maintaining the spa experience at the highest level measured through the standards.
Growth, development of your team. Both in content and skills.
Performance management of FD agents according to Azure Palm’s performance management approach
Setting clear expectations
Creating, implementing, and/or providing tools and knowledge to support them meeting those expectations
Monitoring and providing timely feedback (immediate/continual, periodical structured, progressive discipline)
Providing regular positive recognition
Create and maintain atmosphere of valuing and appreciating team member’s contributions
Accountable for ensuring all front desk agents are trained and certified in all areas of their role (job expectation).
Create staff schedules and enforce schedule change processes & procedures
Accountable to manage the payroll and payroll process (clock ins/outs)
Creating, implementing or maintaining structures (including communication structures) between FD agents and between other departments and leadership.
Creating and maintaining “effective communication”
Embody the spa vibe at all times yourself and set the tone for guests’ spa experience that allows them to be immersed in it during their stay.
Proactively develop your own skills. Including asking for help when needed.
Create and maintain collaborative relationships with people in all other departments in order to deliver a seamless guest experience throughout their visit.
Maintain revenue and operating margin standards
Implement, follow and ensure all agents follow established processes and procedures, use and complete checklists and calendars, and - maintain organized workspaces for consistency, accuracy and timeliness.· Use data to proactively plan the operation based on business needs.
Be proactive, thoughtful and diligent in thinking, planning and action.
Proactively monitor and maintain levels of all needed materials for the front desk operation including tools, office supplies, marketing materials, and equipment.
Previous experience in a hospitality position is required.
Pay commensurate with qualifications up to $26 an hour.
