About the Role:
Hyatt Place St. Paul is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Front Desk Supervisor to lead our guest services team in the heart of Saint Paul, MN. Responsibilities:
Supervise and support front desk agents to ensure seamless guest check-in and check-out experiences
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and a service-first mindset
Train, coach, and motivate front desk staff to uphold Hyatt brand standards
Manage room assignments, reservations, and inventory using property management systems (PMS)
Oversee cash handling, billing accuracy, and end-of-shift reporting
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Serve as Manager on Duty when needed, responding to any on-property issues or emergencies
Requirements:
1+ years of front desk or guest services experience in a hotel environment
Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first attitude
Proficiency with hotel property management systems (PMS); Opera or similar preferred
Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality degree a plus
