    Job Summary

    We are seeking an experienced Front Desk Supervisor/Medical Biller to join our team! This position will work with the front desk personnel by overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth patient flow, efficient administrative tasks, financial oversight and excellent customer service. Cover at the front desk when personnel is out. This position also works with patients to answer billing questions, process all forms required for insurance billing purposes, manage the eligibility process, educate staff on payers, compliance management, and collect all necessary documentation from patients. The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and is comfortable spending much of the day on the phone.

    Responsibilities

    Assist Clarity with Practice bucket

    Work with providers on finalizing visits

    Verifying batches balance

    Financial oversight of point of service collections (POS)

    Manage inventory retained in the front office

    Training front desk new hires, multi-location

    Train staff on payer requirements

    Develop policy and procedures for front desk and internal billing procedures

    Develop KPI reports and work to streamline month-end processes

    Assist patients in navigating the billing and insurance landscape, including collecting all necessary forms and signatures

    Work with doctor’s offices and hospitals to obtain prior authorizations and referrals.

    Enter all billing and payment information into the system properly and without errors

    Answer phones, assist patients with questions

    Maintains the highest level of confidentiality

    Qualifications

    Strong customer service skills

    Previous experience with medical coding or billing desired

    Strong leadership and organization skills

    Excellent attention to detail

    5+ years experience in medical billing; dermatology a PLUS

    3+ years in a coordinator or management role
