  • Responsibilities

    Job Summary: This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Rock Road Front Desk as well as hiring, recruiting, and training all new Front Desk Coordinators for all clubs. This includes, but is not limited to, the processing of guest check ins, front desk staffing and member retention and maintaining quality customer service. Along with, conducting and maintaining all desk inventories and training for all clubs.

    Communicates kindly and sincerely using members name

    Check members in and out efficiently

    Knowledgeable of Clubs amenities and surroundings

    Ensures guest satisfaction & Loyalty

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Executes procedures as outlined by front desk manual

    Manages and trains all front desk coordinators

    Manages and oversees all clubs inventories

    Assist General Manager with all front desk operations, which include hiring, scheduling, training and management of front desk staff

    Responsible for daily register deposits

    Maintains office supply orders

    Attends all staff and club meetings and events

    Establish and maintain professional relationships with members and staff

    Ensures that all required documentation (daily reports, checklists, etc.) are completed in a timely manner.

    Ensures front desk is clean, maintained and organized at all times

    Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations

    Ability to travel to all clubs to ensure staff efficiency

    Expectations:

    Present a professional demeanor at all times when representing Genesis Health Clubs

    Provide input in developing strategies to support club goals and objectives

    Develop and build a team atmosphere among staff, departments, and clubs

    Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from members

    Job Requirements:

    Available to work weekends and evenings and holidays

    Must hold current CPR certification or obtain within 60 days of start date

    Ability to work well with others

    Experience in cash handling and credit cards

    Customer service abilities

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to stand for long periods of time

    Ability to lift up to 35 pounds

    Ability to communicate with guests and other associates, including reading, writing and speaking
