About the Role:

TUSK DENTAL SPECIALISTS PC in Falls Church, VA is looking for a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our dental practice. If you thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment and love helping patients feel at ease, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner

Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using dental practice management software

Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and direct patients to appropriate staff

Verify dental insurance benefits and process claims and co-payments

Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic and insurance information

Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the office

Handle billing, invoicing, and end-of-day reconciliation tasks

Requirements:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude

Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a busy office environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare administration education a plus

Prior experience in a dental or medical front desk/receptionist role preferred

Preferable to be familiar with dental practice management software Ortho2

Preferable to have Knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing processes
