Welcome to the first Jeff's Bagel Run in Illinois! We are looking for enthusiastic teammates that want to grow alongside us as we expand into Illinois. JBR is a fun, team driven atmosphere where we work together to create the premium bagel experience while being a staple of the local community. As a member of the first Jeff's Bagel Run team in Illinois, you will be the at the front of the shop serving up smiles and a great customer experience to go along with the most delicious bagels you've ever had! You will thrive in a team environment, packing up bagels, cream cheese, and preparing an assortment of refreshing beverages as the perfect sidekick to fresh bagels. Whether you slice your bagel, or you rip-n-dip into multiple cream cheeses... sipping on a hot or iced latte between bites... there's no wrong way to enjoy your bagel! Our work environment includes: • Food provided • Growth opportunities • Lively atmosphere • Safe work environment Responsibilities: • General customer service • Running front of house as a team, or individually • Must be comfortable running a cash register and assisting in food prep (bagels and cream cheese) • Front lobby maintenance • Inventory counts • Providing assistance to the bakers when needed • Clean and disinfect work area; set up and break down work station; and follow and ensure compliance with sanitation and cleaning procedures. • Responsible for opening the store (shifts may start between 5-7 am) Qualifications: • Previous restaurant or bakery experience is a bonus (we provide training!) • You enjoy meeting and talking with new people • Must be able to lift 50 lbs and move efficiently in a fast-paced environment • Your schedule must be flexible, and you can work weekdays/weekends • Reliable transportation and punctuality Compensation: $13 - $14 hourly
