    Job Summary We are a fun, established, privately owned dental practice seeking a qualified and caring Front Office Coordinator to join our team! The ideal candidate has previous experience working in a dental office providing exceptional customer service, scheduling patients, billing and collecting payments. The Front Office plays a vital role in delivering an excellent patient experience and supporting the smooth operation of our dental practice.     The position available is full-time, Tuesday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. We offer a friendly and supportive work environment with a competitive compensation package.

    Compensation $26-$35 hourly DOE

    Front Desk Administrative Responsibilities:

    Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming, professional environment

    Answer phone calls, respond to voicemails, texts and emails, promptly and professionally

    Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments with efficiency

    Maintain the front office and reception area to ensure it is clean, tidy and organized

    Collect and verify patient information, insurance data and signed patient forms

    Accurately enter data and scan documents into Dentrix

    Receive, open and organize all mail and packages

    Monitor general office supply inventory

    Treatment Plan Coordination:

    Review doctor recommended treatment plans and clearly explain patients their options

    Educate patients on procedures, timelines, financial estimates and out-of-pocket costs

    Present and collect financial agreements and consent forms

    Help patients understand insurance benefits and limitations

    Coordinate specialist referrals, follow-ups and preauthorization

    Follow up on pending treatments and recall visits via text, email and/or phone

    Financial and Insurance Responsibilities:

    Collect co-payments, deposits and full payments

    Process payments, handle billing and maintain accurate financial records

    Assist in verifying insurance coverage and entering benefits into Dentrix

    Monitor outstanding balances and assist in A/R follow-up calls

    Administrative Excellence:

    Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA and company protocols

    Collaborate closely with the doctor and clinical team to ensure seamless delivery of care

    Contribute to a positive, professional, team-oriented environment

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent

    2+ years of dental front office experience (Dental billing, collections, patient scheduling and excellent customer service)

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Professional appearance and exceptional customer service mindset

    Tech-savvy, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment

    Reliable, punctual and self-motivated

    Prior experience with Dentrix practice management application preferred

    Strong computer and data entry skills (Digital charting and Microsoft 365 preferred)

    Experience presenting treatment plans and financial options to patients preferred
