You’ll welcome visitors, clients, and fellow employees, answer phone calls and emails, sort and deliver mail, schedule meetings, make travel arrangements, and assist us with other operations as needed. Responsibilities: • Handle deliveries and manage incoming and outgoing mail • Provide administrative support to other team members with data entry, paperwork, photocopying, etc. when needed • Give every employee, client, and visitor a warm welcome at the front desk and communicate any important information or directions • Arrange appointments for employees and keep the calendar up-to-date • Answer phone calls and emails and communicate relevant information to the appropriate parties • Must have outstanding client service skills, getting to know clients and their needs • Maintain guest records through contact with clients and Veterinarians • Assist new clients with information, procedures, and requirements for setting up temperament tests • Answer phones, emails, and texts to help clients with reservations and general information about our business • Must be able to appropriately handle dog sizes ranging from 2 lbs. to 175 lbs. on a leash while maintaining control and keeping your team safe • Understanding the client's instructions and/or special needs for boarding/daycare check-ins and check-outs, and being able to communicate these needs to the kennel staff, and electronically documenting • Give facility tours (within 4 weeks of hire) • Soft selling and marketing are an absolute must Qualifications: • At least one year of receptionist or administrative assistant, experience, or similar preferred • High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent • Displays impeccable interpersonal, time management, organizational, and customer service skills • Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office • Previous dog handling and/or veterinarian experience is preferred, albeit not required • 1+ years of relevant reception/client service experience required • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily tasks Compensation: $15 hourly
