    We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and patient-focused Front & Back Office Assistant to join our growing pain management team. This hybrid role supports both front office operations and clinical back-office responsibilities , working directly alongside our providers to deliver exceptional patient care across multiple Valley locations.

    Position Overview

    The Front & Back Office Assistant plays a key role in the patient experience — from welcoming patients at check-in, to assisting providers clinically, to supporting scheduling and daily workflow.

    This is a multi-location role that requires flexibility, professionalism, and strong communication skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    Front Office Duties

    • Check patients in and out, verify demographics and insurance.

    • Schedule appointments across multiple service lines (pain management, procedures, imaging, personal injury, behavioral health, etc.).

    • Navigate multiple communication platforms and manage provider messaging.

    • Process referrals, authorizations, and incoming leads.

    • Collect copays, assist with benefits/eligibility, and provide excellent customer service.

    • Ensure accurate order entry, documentation, and follow-up.

    Back Office / Medical Assistant Duties

    • Room patients and prepare charts for provider visits.

    • Assist providers with clinical procedures and exams as needed.

    • Take vitals, medication lists, and patient history.

    • Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and clinical supplies.

    • Prepare injections, assist with procedures, and support daily clinic flow.

    • Support PI, regenerative medicine, and infusion services when needed.

    • Perform telephone encounters and patient callbacks with high accuracy.

    Qualifications

    • 1+ year experience in a medical office or pain management, orthopedics, primary care, or surgery preferred.

    • Experience with EclinicalWorks or Practice Fusion strongly preferred.

    • Strong understanding of referrals, authorizations, and insurance eligibility.

    • Ability to multitask and navigate a fast-paced clinical environment.

    • Reliable transportation to travel between multiple clinic sites.

    • Professional communication skills and a patient-centered attitude.

    • Medical Assistant certification preferred, but not required.
