We are currently seeking qualified candidates with Professional experience, to be considered for a position as a Receptionist within our Firm. Primary functions are to provide a variety of simple to complex administrative & reception services, while assisting in the day-to-day operations of the firm.
This candidate must be well organized and have the ability to multi-task. This candidate will be personable and hospitable as well as detail oriented and conscientious. One that takes pride and responsibility for their work product.
Primary Responsibilities:
Must be skilled in the use of computers and the internet and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
A desire to gain a complete working knowledge of our internal programs and processes is required
Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner, providing the caller with general information and/or providing a solution for the caller
Helping CPA’s and Staff with organizing and assembling clients tax returns for mailing
Keeping the kitchen organized and stocked including dishes and wiping down countertop’s morning and evening
Ordering office supplies
Sort, distribute, package, prepare and track all incoming/outgoing mail as well as mail runs to the Post Office as needed.
Maintain Fed Ex, Overnight and USPS mailing supplies including the postage meter
Fill copiers w/paper
Monitor incoming faxes
Primary Qualities:
Cooperative and positive attitude with an ability to speak politely with clients and co-workers in a professional manner.
Good people skills and communication skills
Detail oriented
Punctual (9a - 5p weekdays)
Overtime required during spring/fall tax season avg. 5-10hrs. a week
Responsible and takes initiative and ownership of duties
Interested in learning and growing in general and at work
Preferred Qualifications:
Reception experience in a professional services environment
Excellent time management skills
Dependable and reliable demonstrated work history
