    Talley Eye Institute is looking for a qualified medical Front Office Supervisor to join our busy Ophthalmology practice. The Front Office Supervisor will be responsible for day-to-day operations at the front desk to ensure a welcoming, smooth, and efficient check-in and check-out patient experience.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    Prior experience as a Front Office Supervisor is required

    Medical office experience preferred

    High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Oversees the daily check-in and check-out duties by the patient service specialists to ensure quality customer service, patient care and to manage any situations that may arise

    Maintain, develop and implement front office policies and procedures

    Maintain medical and staff records

    Liaise with doctors, supervisory staff, and administration to offer ways to improve the overall patient experience and enhance efficiency

    Seek office efficiencies to make the overall process positive

    Ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations, medical laws and high ethical standards

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Daily supervision of approximately 11 employees

    Audit staff productivity and provide coaching, recognition, and conduct evaluations to staff members

    Lead the department in communicating and execution of organization’s goals and objectives

    Liaison for department with other department supervisors, Administration and Doctors

    Support in daily clinic coverage

    Administrative duties such as manage day-to-day staffing needs and adjustments, prepare staff schedules, address employee relation concerns, attend office meetings, conduct department meetings, etc.

    Perform other duties as assigned

    Salary is commensurate with experience
