    The Cove in Rockport, MA, is in search of a dynamic and caring individual to become a part of our team during the season, dedicated to creating enchanting experiences for our boutique hotel guests. Nestled just a stone's throw away from the beach and conveniently close to shopping and dining options, this role is tailor-made for a meticulously organized individual with a passion for spreading happiness! Our close-knit team tackles a variety of tasks and is looking for someone who is enthusiastic about actively contributing across the property each day and building meaningful connections with our guests. This position is Full Time, 32 hours a week, and needs the availability to work Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9am-5pm and some weekends and holidays as we are open daily. Benefits include paid time off, weekly pay, free parking and more. Prior experience in a hospitality setting or office is required. Responsibilities: • Overseeing all Front Desk staff • Taking reservations, cancellations, and verifying dates of stay • Reconciliation of guest billing and reservations • Knowledge of 3rd party booking systems • Ensuring that each guest's experience exceeds expectations. Interfacing with guests on a daily basis and resolving any concerns that may arise • Understanding all departments and how they function as a team, including housekeeping, maintenance, and parking • Working with the General Manager to elevate the guest and team experience • Learning the ins and outs of our property in order to troubleshoot operational issues • Helping with other departments as needed • Comfortable being on your feet, or in the office, doing a variety of tasks to complete the day's work Qualifications: • Must enjoy and be able to meet the public with poise. A great conversationalist with the ability to quickly build rapport and credibility • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, conveying information and ideas clearly • Must be neat, courteous, flexible, and extremely detail-oriented • Ability to take and give direction, and work with a variety of colleagues and guests • A constant drive to improve the experience of our users and our internal processes: "How can I make things better?" • A team player who is flexible and willing to help support the property and Lark Hotels' goals, and the ability to support other hotel room operations • Understanding the technologies used throughout the property • Friendly, reliable, trustworthy, and organized person would be a great fit Compensation: $20 - $22 hourly
