    We are currently searching for a Demand Planner to support our Semiconductor business in Selma, TX.

     

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

     

    • Execute demand management process across all product lines, aligned with Global S&OP process, and lead demand management review meetings to enable demand-supply balancing analysis.
    • Build global consensus demand plans by utilizing statistical models and leveraging commercial data collection to support monthly top-down and bottom-up forecasting, across long term planning horizon (3-24 months).
    • Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions and demand drivers.
    • Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing and Finance to understand and ensure that current and accurate demand drivers are used for forecasts.
    • Use and maintain the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting and analysis system tool
    • Provide input to the Supply Planning organization, developing inventory strategies related to existing items, new products and product phase-outs.

     

    Required Skills

    • A minimum of 5 years’ demand planning experience required, including ownership of consensus plan development, preferably in a global manufacturing environment;
    • Ideal candidate will have experience implementing and/or adopting to a more integrated business planning environment, have knowledge of the change management efforts required and be capable of transferring this experience towards the desired future state;
    • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functionally and facilitate meetings to reach a common understanding;
    • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in statistics, forecasting methodologies and financial acumen, as it relates to operational impact
    • Working knowledge of SAP/APO, Oracle Demand Planning or other Tier 1 ERP software platforms required;
    • Proactive approach to identifying issues and taking appropriate action before they impact the business

     

     

    Qualifications:

    • BS degree required
    • Preference given to candidates to have APICS certification
