Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee owned company supporting multiple technology development efforts, is searching for a talented Junior Software Engineer to join our Advanced Technology Development Operation in our Cyber Solutions Group. We are looking for a self-starter with excellent technical skills drawing from a number of Computer Science or Computer Engineering technical skillsets to perform research and development tasks in support of secure hardware and software development. Flexibility is a must as our tasks include a wide variety of topics in support of our mission: hardware security, software development and security, modeling and simulation, secure processor architectures, directed energy, cybersecurity, industrial control systems, and much more. Responsibilities will include documentation of progress, effective communication, and presentation of results and progress. The hired candidate will work with other hardware and software engineers to develop tools and technologies for a variety of applications.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• GPA of 3.7
• Experience with programming languages including C++, Python, Matlab, R, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Java, etc.
• Experience with databases and system administration
• Experience with FPGA programming (VHDL, Verilog)
• Experience with penetration testing, cybersecurity, and reverse engineering
• Experience with modeling and simulation software
• Experience with machine learning and statistical analysis
• Self-motivated yet able to work well within a development team

Required Skills

• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical field
• Minimum GPA of 3.2
• US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance
