    POSITION SUMMARY: As a Developer Intern you will get your foot in the door to Design, develop, configure, and test technology solutions to meet business requirements.

      

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Design, develop, configure, and test technology solutions to meet business requirements.
    • Uses knowledge of business processes to analyze options, define requirements, and create functional designs for technology solutions to business problems.
    • Plans and implements security measures to protect against cyber-attacks and ensure the integrity of data, systems, and networks. 
    • Other duties as assigned.

      

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, MIS, Business Information Systems, Business or Engineering with IT focus required
    • IT-related experience a plus
    • Ability to learn new technologies and processes information quickly
    • Ability to adapt to changes in timelines and sequences
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work well within a team environment
    • Solid computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office suite
    • Tech Savvy – Ability and passion for learning new technology and tools

    REQUIRED EDUCATION

     

     

    The following are the minimum requirements to teach all CSC courses. This includes CSC 119, CSC 160, CSC 161, CSC 165, CSC 217, CSC 220, CSC 223, CSC 225, CSC 230, CSC 233, CSC 234, CSC 236, CSC 240, CSC 241, CSC 246, CSC 252.

     

    MINIMUM REQUIRED:

    • A related associates (or relevant current industry license or certification) and 4000 verified occupational/industry hours within 7 years;
    • OR, a related Bachelor’s or any Master’s degree with 18 discipline related credits and 2000 verified occupational/industry hours within 7 years.

    RELATED DEGREE, CREDENTIAL, AND/OR OCCUPATIONAL EXPERIENCE IN: Computer Information Systems, Computer Networking, Computer Science, Computing, Information Technology, Computer Systems Analyst, Software Systems Developer, Web Developer, Web Programmer Database Administrator, Network Systems Administrator.

    For the following courses instructors must also have additional specific qualifying experiences or education:

    CSC 160, CSC 161, CSC 234

    RELATED DEGREE, CREDENTIAL, AND/OR OCCUPATIONAL EXPERIENCE IN: C++

    CSC 240, CSC 241

    RELATED DEGREE, CREDENTIAL, AND/OR OCCUPATIONAL EXPERIENCE IN: Java Programming

     

    PREFERRED EDUCATION

     

    • Five years in a Computer Science or Administration position
