  • Responsibilities

    This position will be responsible for enhancing diversity outreach and sourcing efforts in our community and industry. The focus of this position is to increase diversity within candidate pools for employment positions with the Company, affiliated financial advisors within the wealth management business, as well as vendors and business partners of the Company.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Support the diversity and inclusion strategy aligned with our purpose, vision, mission, values and business goals through the exercise of discretion and independent judgment in completing responsibilities
    • Build and manage partnerships with external organizations and universities to develop diverse candidate, affiliated financial advisor and business partner/vendor pipelines
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition to plan and implement diverse recruitment activities and initiatives to continually increase diversity within candidate pools for positions at all levels
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition to equip recruiters with data, resources and sourcing initiatives that will enable recruiters to proactively build a pipeline of high caliber, diverse, and well-qualified talent
    • Partner with Advisor Acquisition to develop an outreach program that attracts diverse affiliated financial advisors
    • Develop and manage national partnerships with organizations encouraging diversity in the Wealth Management and Asset Management industry
    • Partner with Strategic Sourcing to develop a Supplier Diversity Program that proactively seeks to create relationships with diverse businesses, vendors, and/or service providers.
    • Support the accomplishment of key KPIs/metrics for each initiative through collaboration and mutual accountability
    • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partner organizations to execute on sourcing initiatives
    • Build an internal and external network to further knowledge and awareness of industry trends which can improve diversity, inclusion and belonging
    • Perform other duties as assigned

     

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
    • Minimum 3 years workplace experience in diversity outreach and sourcing – preferably in financial services industries
    • Experience building relationships, networking and collaborating effectively with ethnically/culturally/socio-economically diverse populations and community organizations
    • Experience building and nurturing productive partnerships with talent providers, community organizations, professional associations, etc., including development and implementation of diversity sourcing strategies
    • Proven experience successfully building and deploying diversity talent acquisition strategies
    • Proven experience successfully building coalitions and consensus among diverse groups to achieve goals
    • Passionate, engaged and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency
    • Cultural awareness and ability to build trust, credibility and navigate a complex landscape
    • Strong project management skills; ability to drive simultaneous, complex projects to measurable success while aligning with organizational strategy
    • Regular and predictable attendance
    • Strong oral and written communication skills. Experience managing and carrying out a strategic communications plan.
    • Ideal candidate will be proactive, organized and possess exceptional interpersonal skills

    REQUIRED EDUCATION

    • A related associates (or relevant current industry license or certification) and 4000 verified occupational/industry hours within 7 years; OR, a related Bachelor’s or any Master’s degree with 18 discipline related credits and 2000 verified occupational/industry hours within 7 years.
