    Precise Systems is a professional services company currently working for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and U.S. Air Force.  Our core competencies include systems engineering, program and project management, logistics, information technology and cyber security, and software development services.  We were founded in 1990 and since our establishment we have been providing cutting edge solutions and support to our warfighters.  We understand and provide expert consultation on network and weapons systems acquisition programs, maintenance/modernization programs, and sustainment programs.

     

    We are currently seeking an Inventory Manager to support our NUWC customer. This position in contingent on contract award. The Inventory Manager will manage NUWC Newport General Equipment (GE) and also:

      - verify and document that all GE assets, as listed within Navy ERP, are accounted for, maintained, properly secured, accurately reported, and are recorded in the GE Tool.

      - confirm that the physical inventories match the digital GE asset inventory as listed within Navy ERP and GE Tool

      - Update Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP)

      - update Base Inventory Tracking System (BITS) to Inventory Management/ Warehouse Management (IM/WM) 

     

    Familiar with the following systems:

    • Base Inventory Tracking System (BITS)
    • Disposal Tracking System (DTS)
    • Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)
    • Warfare Center General Equipment Cite, commonly known as “GE Tool”

     

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

    • 5 years relevant experience.
    • Experience with managing Navy inventory.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

     

    Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION

    • A related associates (or relevant current industry license or certification) and 4000 verified occupational/industry hours within 7 years;
    • OR, a related Bachelor's or any Master's degree with 18 discipline related credits and 2000 verified occupational/industry hours within 7 years.

    RELATED DEGREE, CREDENTIAL, AND/OR OCCUPATIONAL EXPERIENCE IN:  Electrical Engineering Technology or Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    • 2-5 years industrial experience in related field

     

    PREFERRED EDUCATION

    • Master’s degree in engineering required or equivalent industrial experience, from a regionally accredited college/university.
    • Applicant must be able to obtain Career and Technical Education teaching credential which requires a combination of experience and education.
