Front Range Recreation is hiring managers for outdoor swimming pools in the Lakewood, Parker, Aurora, Centennial and Castle Rock areas.
Managers are responsible for supervising a staff of 8-16 lifeguards, depending on the size of the facility, while maintaining a safe, clean, and pleasing swimming environment by enforcing all policies, rules and regulations of the pool and surrounding area.
In addition to rule enforcement and staff supervision, pool manager is responsible for chemical maintenance and record-keeping; mechanical troubleshooting; pool maintenance and cleaning procedures; staff evaluations; maintaining proper levels of supplies; customer service and assisting other staff.
Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 1-year of a form of management experience (teaching, camp counselor, shift lead, coaching or previous management experience) Be a team player and have a great attitude Have a Lifeguarding certification (can provide certification) Complete on-line swimming lesson instructor training Work a minimum of 35 hours per week
Job Duties: Supervise pool staff Scheduling Perform chemical maintenance Record keeping Ensure cleanliness of facilities Ensure Pool Manager, Assistant Manager or Lead lifeguard is on duty at all times the pool is open Complete upkeep of pool and equipment
Compensation is $13.00 - $18.00 per hour depending on experience and size of facility for managers and $11.50 - $13.50 for assistant managers.
