Angel Diaz-Norrman, D.D.S., P.A. is a busy periodontal practice in Miami dedicated to providing compassionate, professional care to our patients. We are seeking a dependable, organized, and bilingual English/Spanish Dental Receptionist to join our front office team.

Position Summary
The Dental Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. The ideal candidate is compassionate, discreet, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced medical office.
Responsibilities
Greet and assist patients in person and by telephone
Answer phone calls professionally and courteously
Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
Verify patient insurance benefits
Assist doctors, staff, visitors, and patients as needed
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Assist with patient admissions and treatment procedures according to established protocols
Respond appropriately to patient concerns and emergencies
Maintain front-desk supplies, equipment, and repair requests
Follow office policies, procedures, and established protocols
Protect patient, doctor, and staff information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information
Perform other front-office duties as assigned
Qualifications
Fluency in both English and Spanish is required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous dental or medical front-desk experience preferred
Strong organizational, administrative, and planning skills
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Strong computer and information technology skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
Ability to respond calmly and appropriately to urgent situations
Professional, compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
Ability to exercise discretion when handling confidential information
Passion for providing excellent healthcare service
Preferred Experience
Dental front desk: 1 year preferred
Experience with insurance verification and appointment scheduling preferred
