About the Role:
Join the Emerald Eye Center Inc. as a Front Desk Manager, where you'll be the welcoming face of our ophthalmology practice in Encino, CA. We are looking for a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
Manage front desk operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient check-in and check-out process.
Supervise and train front desk staff to deliver outstanding customer service.
Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for multiple ophthalmologists.
Handle patient inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance information.
Assist in managing office supplies and inventory for the front desk.
Collaborate with clinical staff to enhance patient experience and streamline operations.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a front desk or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Strong communication skills, with fluency in both English and Spanish preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
