Front of House Manager is expected to lead the Front of House Team in the following ways:
o Responsible for the actions of the Front of House staff. Must follow through, and check behind all staff, to ensure they are portraying the concept of our restaurant to the highest degree.
o Maintain a cleanly restaurant.
o Maintain correct amounts of cash within the restaurant. This includes the bar drawer, petty cash bag, and nightly cash due deposit.
o Ensuring the restaurant is secured at the end of each shift.
o Leading the hosts / hostesses, servers, and bartenders throughout their shift. Ensuring they are following the standards and procedures set forth by this company.
o Educating staff on the products being offered.
o Educating staff on sales techniques to help grow check averages.
o Educating staff on steps of service, to ensure guest satisfaction.
o Holding employees responsible for their actions. Reprimanding them when their actions violate company policies, and praising them when they excel in their performance.
o For any incidents in which a Front of House employee is unable to preform their duties for the day, you will be expected to fill that role; either by having another employee assume those duties, or you will be expected to assume them for the shift.
o Interview potential candidates for roles within the Front of House, and hire / onboard accordingly.
o Maintaining a supportive and conducive work environment for the employees.
o Exceeding guest expectations.
o Working with guests on reservations and event planning.
o Creating a hospitable environment for the guest, and delivering outstanding service. All food should be delivered within 20 minutes of printing in the kitchen, and all drinks should be delivered within 3-5 minutes of printing at the bar.
o Maintain strict 25% Monthly Alcohol Cost.
o Work with chef on ordering, and maintain stock in all items affiliated with the bar program.
o Develop seasonal alcohol programs; including beer, wine, liquor and cocktail selections.
o Promote the company via meetings with potential customers, partnerships, etc., distributing marketing material, and attending ownership mandated events to promote the company.
