    Job Summary

    The Front of House Supervisor is responsible for leading and supporting the daily operations of the restaurant's guest-facing team. This role ensures exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high service standards, supporting and coaching FOH staff, and fostering a positive and efficient work environment. The FOH Supervisor acts as a liaison between management and staff, helping to enforce policies, uphold company values, and drive excellence in hospitality.

    Key Responsibilities

    Supervise and support FOH staff including hosts, servers, bartenders, and bussers during shifts.

    Ensure guests receive outstanding service and resolve any guest issues promptly and professionally.

    Assist with opening and closing duties, ensuring all checklists and procedures are followed.

    Monitor dining room flow and coordinate seating to optimize guest experience and server workload.

    Train and coach team members on service standards, policies, and procedures.

    Support staff scheduling and ensure adequate shift coverage.

    Maintain cleanliness and organization of all FOH areas according to health and safety standards.

    Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service and communication.

    Handle cash-out procedures and ensure accurate reporting of sales and tips.

    Lead by example with a positive attitude, professionalism, and a guest-first mindset.

    Qualifications

    5 years of experience working in a restaurant setting.

    1–2 years of supervisory or lead experience in a high-volume restaurant environment.

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

    Passion for hospitality and guest service.

    Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.

    Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

    Proficient with POS systems (e.g., Toast, Aloha, or similar) and basic knowledge of restaurant software preferred.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:

    1. Must be able to exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to four hours in length.

    2. Must be able to stoop, bend, and stand for long periods of time.

    3. Must have the ability to lift trays frequently weighing up to 30 pounds and carry them up and down stairs.

    4. May be exposed to wet floors, noise and temperature extremes.

    5. May be required to perform diverse physical tasks
