    At Beity, the Maître D’ has total autonomy. You are the conductor of the evening, ensuring that the transition from the kitchen to the table is seamless, and that every guest leaves feeling they’ve experienced something truly special.

    The Role

    Your mission is simple but demanding: orchestrate a flawless evening through meticulous planning, hands-on leadership, and a commitment to making our staff the best in the city.

    Setting the Stage

    Before the first guest arrives, you are the architect of the night. You’ll handle the "Seating Tetris," balancing the room so our servers can shine without being overwhelmed. You’ll dive deep into our guest notes—knowing who prefers a specific table or which regular needs a carafe of room-temp water waiting for them—and brief the team so we are always two steps ahead of a guest's needs.

    Leading the Room

    You are the first and last person our team interacts with. We look to you to set the tone for professionalism. Whether it’s a quick grooming check to ensure everyone looks sharp or leading a high-energy "Line-Up" to discuss the night's goals and special pairings, you define the "vibe" of the shift.

    Mentorship & Coaching

    We want a leader who loves to teach. You’ll be the primary coach for our Front of House team, turning technical service into an art form. Whether you’re running a quick role-play on how to handle a difficult allergy or offering a bit of "sidewalk coaching" (a quiet tip after a server leaves a table), your goal is to help every team member grow into a hospitality pro.

    The Performance

    During service, the floor is yours. You’ll coordinate with the kitchen to keep the pacing perfect, step in to handle "service recovery" with grace if something goes wrong, and personally visit tables to turn first-time diners into regulars. You are also the final eyes on safety, ensuring our allergy protocols are followed to the letter.

    Closing the Night

    Once the last glass is polished, you’ll wrap up the evening’s story. You’ll provide the General Manager with a detailed look at how the night went—from guest feedback to staff wins—ensuring the business side of the house is as tight as the service.
