    Staff Accountant Frontier Door and Cabinet is the premier provider of interior and exterior doors and high-quality cabinets for the commercial construction industry. The Company is looking for a broadly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team. If you are a solutions-focused, energetic team member with a strong attention to detail, we encourage you to apply. This position will report directly to the Controller and will interface across the organization. Successful candidates will have an Accounting degree along with practical knowledge. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in the responsibilities and skillsets as outlined below, encompassing a strong tactical skillset with a servant-leadership style. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned): Prepare general journal entries and accruals Perform account and bank reconciliations Perform fixed asset administration Prepare managerial financial reports Assist with ad hoc financial requests Oversee credit card programs and expense reconciliations Update and refine weekly cash forecasting model Assists with Accounting audit requests as needed Cross train and assist other roles within the accounting department as needed Professional Experience Required: Four-year Accounting degree Experience in manufacturing or construction is desired A combination of education and related experience may substitute for education requirements Skills and Abilities and Physical Demands required: Honesty and integrity Ability to collaborate effectively Strategic thinking and results-oriented focused Ability to manage through situations that include ambiguity and complexity Manage a multitude of projects and tasks and prioritize accordingly Ability to solve practical problems and deal with limited standardization - Excellent customer service and communication skills - Knowledge of construction - Task and detail oriented The physical demands as described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
