OVERVIEW

The Systems Administrator will administer, maintain and support the technical integrity of company computer systems. This position is located in Santa Fe Springs, CA, but also remotely supports 2 locations in Alpharetta, GA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain, administer, and support M365 suite - Azure, Teams, Exchange Online
• Maintain and administer MS Windows Servers, both physical and Hyper V
• Maintain and administer Windows Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Azure AD Sync
• Deploy, maintain, administer, and support Intune & Windows Hello for Business
• Maintain, administer, and support the Cisco Meraki Firewall and VPN
• Maintain, administer and support security systems such as AV
• Maintain, administer, and test server backups and disaster recovery plans
• Deploy, maintain, administer, and support Teams Phone Systems
• Develop, deploy, and maintain automation tools in GitHub and Azure
• Respond to incidents and escalated Help-Desk tickets
• Support local staff as needed
• Special projects and other related duties as assigned
• Maintain and improve documentation for the internal IT knowledge base
• Work with consultants and industry partners on issues and projects
• Serve as point-of-contact for vendors and 3rd party support teams

ENVIRONMENT

• 3 Locations: one in CA, two in GA
• 10 Servers
• 150-200 endpoints
• 95% Windows
• Azure AD Sync to Windows AD
• O365 Suite
• Microsoft Dynamics ERP
• Cisco Meraki Firewalls and site-to-site/client VPN
• 5 other members of the IT department, including reporting, development, ERP, and helpdesk specialists
• Evening and weekend work is rare
• No on-call

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Required: Prior experience with Microsoft Endpoint Management / Intune
• Required: Prior experience with Hybrid Azure/Local Windows Domains, Servers, Networks
• Required: Prior experience with PowerShell and/or Python automation

Experience with the subjects below will be a plus

• Preferred: Prior experience with Meraki Firewalls & VPNs
• Preferred: Prior experience with Power BI
• Preferred: Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics
• Preferred: Prior experience with Azure SQL Servers

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

— Sitting: Particularly for sustained periods of time.

— Repetitive Motions: Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

— Lifting: Occasionally lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
