Job Description

OVERVIEW

This position will be responsible for providing and maintaining a professional standard of service to our customers in a courteous and helpful manner.

Providing superior customer service to all internal and external customers, regarding orders, time lines, invoicing, tracking, quoting, process, product information, as well as any other inquiry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

— Receive customer’s calls of requests for products and services.

— Order processing, quote entries and, stock checking.

— Monitor sales orders as they move through manufacturing stages.

— Follow-up with customers after order ships.

— Acting as liaison between external customer and internal departments.

— Administrative tasks such as faxing, scanning, filing, copying.

— Routing calls to different departments/locations.

— Providing internal customer service between two locations.

— Request approvals for RMAs and Credits.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

— High School diploma or equivalent required.

— Experience in Architectural design or construction is a plus.

— Strong background in customer service is essential for this position.

— Good computer and data entry skills. Proficient in MS Word and Excel (Experience in Navision or SAP is a plus).

— Strong communication skills (written and phone).

— Must be self-motivated and displays initiative, integrity, good attendance, and professionalism.

— Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment. Detail oriented and can prioritize workloads effectively.

— Must possess the desire to problem solve and go up and above to resolve concerns.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

— Sit for long periods of time.

— Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

— Repeat the same movements.

— At times dusty due to the manufacturing aspect.

Workers are to promote a teamwork environment by maintaining a positive attitude, being approachable, being willing to help in areas of temporary heavy volume in any department, keeping safety a priority, and by admitting mistakes quickly and openly to prevent more work for the team in the future.
