Retail Computer Service Technician
Fry's Electronics is seeking highly motivated individuals possessing excellent customer service skills to join our Service Team! Our Service Technicians serve as a point of contact between the company and our customers, completing the shopping experience by providing technical assistance and advice to Fry's customers in an over the counter open air environment.
Service Technicians perform computer repairs in a timely fashion. Service Technicians must be knowledgeable in using diagnostic software to troubleshoot computers to determine hardware failures, be knowledgeable in installing and upgrading Windows & Apple Operating Systems, and be able to download specific drivers and software for hardware requirements. Use of electrical volt meters, soldering irons, and computer repair tools is required. Service Technicians also repair, upgrade, and build computers for our customers.
Qualified candidates will:
Possess a current CompTIA A+ Certification, or be able to attain their A+ Certification within 90 days from start date. Fry's provides paid on the job training for Tech Team Associates to obtain their A+ Certification (see store for details).
Possess a valid driver's license and good driving record.
Possess the ability to team-lift products up to 50lbs.
Have the ability to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Multitask while upholding quality and integrity of work.
