    FUDPUCKER’S is filling a most important role as an HR COORDINATOR. This role will be assisting the HR Director with workplace planning and employment, human resource development, employee relations, and occupational health, safety, and security.

    You probably already know this, but Fudpucker's is one of the most famous places in northwest Florida. What you may not know, though, is that we are not just famous because of our great food, cold drinks, funny t-shirts and live alligators (though these things ARE pretty amazing). Actually, the main reason that Fudpucker's is famous is because we are really good at making people smile, making people laugh and making people feel at home. And to do that, our training is all about making people feel welcome - and we are really good at doing that for both our visitors AND our employees.

    Here are the details of the position:

    Recruiting and Onboarding

    Assist with recruitment strategies and efforts to hire a significant number of qualified candidates in a competitive market.

    Enlists and pre-screens applicants.

    Facilitates scheduling interviews, as required, and monitors the interview process.

    Conducts pre-employment background checks.

    Ensures all new hire requirements and documentation are complete.

    Communicates start dates and orientation times to new hires.

    Payroll Systems

    Facilitates the transfer of new hires from the hire system to the payroll system.

    Consistently processes and submits at least one weekly company payroll.

    Employee Retention and Benefits

    Assists in suggesting and planning methods to maintain or improve employee retention.

    Assists in tracking when criteria are met to pay employee incentives.

    Assists in gathering employee census information for benefit programs.

    Safety and Health Regulations

    Assists with the implementation of company safety and health programs in accordance with OSHA or other federal or state regulatory agencies and certain insurers (e.g., liability and workers compensation insurance) with input from applicable departments or employees.

    Attends operations’ safety meetings

    Ensures all required labor posters are current and visible.

    Assists with preparation and submission of related reports as required.

    Training and Educational Programs

    Assists in monitoring training and educational programs.

    Communicates employee status in programs to the operations management team.

    Human Resources Regulations Compliance

    May assist with preparation of documentation for annual human resources audits.

    May assist with coordinating semi-annual management team training performed by legal professionals.

    Communication of Employee Policies and Procedures

    Participates in new hire orientations and assembles orientation materials.

    Assists with quarterly updates to the orientation materials.

    Exemplification of Model Behaviors

    Complies with all Fudpucker’s policies and procedures.

    Performs other appropriate duties and responsibilities as requested by the Accounting Manager and/or other senior management.

    Administration Responsibilities

    Assists with weekly scanning and filing for the HR department.

    May assist with other duties as assigned.
