Role Description

We are currently hiring a reliable and professional Fuel Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering oil and propane to residential and commercial customers safely and efficiently. This is a year-round, full-time position based in Hurley, NY.

You will operate a delivery truck, manage delivery paperwork, monitor fuel levels, and communicate with dispatch and customers throughout the day. Safety, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are essential to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Safely deliver heating oil and propane to residential and commercial customers

Operate delivery trucks and fuel equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety guidelines

Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs

Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and customer receipts

Monitor and record tank levels and ensure proper fuel handling procedures

Communicate with dispatch regarding route changes, customer updates, or issues

Provide excellent customer service and represent Hurley Energy professionally on every call

Assist with basic tank inspections or minor service needs if required

Support winter operations, including snow plowing (if needed and applicable)

Qualifications

Valid CDL-B with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required

Clean driving record and current DOT medical card

Previous experience with fuel or propane delivery preferred but not required — we’re willing to train the right candidate

Ability to lift and move hoses and equipment up to 75 lbs

Strong attention to safety, regulations, and customer satisfaction

Dependable, self-motivated, and professional attitude

Comfortable working independently and in various weather conditions

High school diploma or equivalent

Resume preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits

Pay range: $15.50 – $30.00 per hour, based on experience and endorsements
