    FUEL DISPATCHER

    The Fuel Dispatcher will work with the Operations Manager and other members of the dispatching team to increase company profitability, customer satisfaction and employee engagement by efficient and cost-effective scheduling of deliveries, routing of trucks and staying in communication with drivers

    Salary:

    Salary based on experience

    Job Requirements:

    Valid CDL, hazmat endorsement and clean driving record

    Knowledge of logistics, including carriers, shipping policies and procedures

    Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities

    Follow company policies and procedures

    Able to work independently

    Problem-solving

    Maintain technical skills to be able to use email, a smartphone, Word, Excel and Cargas software

    Comfortable in fast-paced environment

    Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures

    Team player who works productively with a wide range of people

    Able to perform math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)

    Working knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations

    Pass a drug screen and background check

    Education: High school diploma/GED required

    Experience: experience in the fuel industry is preferred but not required

    Job Duties:

    Responsibilities

    Reports to the Operations Manager

    Communicates and cooperates effectively with Drivers, other Dispatchers, Customer Service Manager, CSRs, Service Coordinator and Service Techs

    Monitor tank deployments and usage

    Monitor Open Call Entries

    Create efficient daily truck delivery routes with the assistance of cargas logistical routing software

    Measure driver efficiency & work to upgrade areas needing improvement

    Act as a middleman between the drivers and back-office staff to resolve issues and facilitate communication

    Training

    Ensure that all new Fuel Driver’s training is completed and they are prepared and fully equipped to perform all aspects of their job duties
