Process Operator
Shifts:
**1st Shift:
7:30am-3:30pm- $16 an hour**
Extended- 12pm-8pm -10% differential
Extended 2- 3:30pm-11:30pm- 15% differential

Responsibilities:
**
Work from information sheets, prints, bills of materials and instructions
Operate various work centers in fabricating department to meet production requirements.
Measure, set stops and cut bar stock to length, using a band or cut off saw.
Position stock against machine bed stops, engage clamps and activate unit, load and unload machine.
Check work for proper dimensions and material defects and make necessary adjustments.
Change over back stop gauges and/or machine arms, position work piece and operate standard punch press and notching machines to fabricate metal parts.
Change over and operate single spindle drill presses to drill and tap parts.
Notify supervisor of unusual equipment or operating problems.
Deburr rough edges from work pieces.
Assist in positioning and handling sheet steel during operations.
Deliver and move parts between various departments and locations.
Use forklift truck, overhead crane, pallet jacks, measuring tools, roller tables, tape measure, fixed gauges, band saw cutoff saw, drill press, deburring machine, belt sander, hydraulic notch press, single station press, , hydraulic jack, pneumatic hand tools, and hand tools.
Follow all safety rules and ensure the work area is kept clean and orderly.
Other related duties as assigned.
