    Job Description

    Fulcrum is leading the development of a reliable and efficient process for transforming municipal solid waste (everyday household garbage) into transportation fuels including jet fuel and diesel. Beginning with the Sierra BioFuels Plant opening in 2021, the company’s plants will produce a low-carbon drop-in fuel that is competitively priced with traditional petroleum fuel.

    The Manager of Administration, working in Fulcrum's Corporate Office in Pleasanton, CA, assists in the management of the administrative operations of the company, including the following functions: Office Management and Administration, Information Technology, Communications, Insurance and Data Room Management. Position interacts closely with all company personnel, including Executive Management.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Office Management and Administration

    • Maintains ongoing efficient administrative operations to ensure all personnel have working tools available to perform their jobs as productively as possible, including:
      • Maintains appropriate office supplies inventory;
      • Procures office furniture and fixtures as needed;
      • Maintains proper appearance of offices; and
      • Maintains office equipment.
    • Manages communication with various landlords’ office management companies.
    • Other administrative duties and actions as required.

    Information Technology

    • Manages relationship with IT Service Provider, ensuring personnel have ongoing efficient, secure and productive computer and IT resources, network server equipment, personal computer equipment and related peripherals such as printers.
    • Manages VoIP system and video systems and relationships with service providers. Helps to research and evaluate new systems that will offer the most efficient and reliable tools for all employees.
    • Evaluates records management solutions, works with department heads to determine best options and manages implementation.

    Communications

    • Administers and manages company website and works with communications consultants on the management of Fulcrum’s social media platforms.
    • Assists in developing communications materials in connection with public announcements.
    • Prepares PowerPoint presentations for multiple audiences including financial, investors, communities and employees.
    • Helps to ensure all communications and company presentations are accurate and consistent with current business focus and activities.

    Virtual Data Room Management

    • Administers and manages virtual data room material and access in connection with investment and technical due diligence efforts.
    • Requires maintaining an active knowledge of various business transactions and related documentation as well as external investment and strategic partnership interests.

    Other

    • Assists VP of Administration in administering company’s Corporate Insurance plans, including preparing renewal and marketing material and administering various claims.
    • Miscellaneous administrative duties as necessary.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration required.
    • 5+ years of progressively responsible office management and administration experience is required.
    • Proven ability to take on new responsibilities, tasks and special projects with little guidance.
