Part-Time (with potential for full-time in the future) We are looking for a part-time (20 hours a week) Bookkeeper to play a key role in our growing team. You’ll be responsible for managing our financial transactions, including preparing commission worksheets, processing payroll, inputting invoices, accounts payable and accounts receivable, and recording information to accounting journals and QuickBooks. The position is located out of our Eagle, Idaho office. You MUST be able to work in the Eagle office. Responsibilities: • Properly record financial transactions. • Perform bookkeeping duties: Maintain data on financial statements. • Manage payroll duties to ensure employees are paid on time. • Prepare commission worksheets. • Make sure accounts payable/accounts receivable are processed efficiently. • Ensure all books reconcile with bank statements and prepare financial statements. • Follow-up on past-due invoices. Qualifications: Required • Candidate must have an Associate's degree in accounting or a similar field. • Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Basic knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, and basic accounting systems. • 2+ years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a bookkeeper, cost accountant, management accountant, or similar position. Preferred (not required) • Exceptional knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). • Candidate to have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar field. • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, and basic accounting systems. Compensation: $19 - $20.50 hourly
