  • Responsibilities

    Essential Job Functions

    1. Process (wave, print, organize paperwork and labels) customer orders.
    2. Run stock reports to verify product availability.
    3. Generate all related paperwork and required information for customer work orders; review orders for special requests and update inventory records.
    4. Research aging orders and provide timely updates to the Operations Team.
    5. Complete productivity trackers (where applicable).
    6. Follow up with internal departments to ensure service standards are met.
    7. Verify computer-generated invoices to ensure proper account billing.
    8. Maintain damage records and back-order logs.
    9. Handle returned merchandise efficiently and ensure proper customer credit.
    10. Oversee all paperwork associated with orders and maintain organized files.
    11. Prepare reports related to customer service activities.
    12. Maintain a current and accurate procedure book detailing processing requirements for each account.
    13. Answer phone calls and operate office machines and computer systems as needed.
    14. Greet customers and visitors professionally.
    15. Coordinate special and last-minute shipping requests.
    16. Maintain inventory accuracy; conduct inventory audits, record results, and identify trends.
    17. Complete billing according to company processes.
    18. Track and trace orders as required.
    19. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications

    1. High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
    2. Experience in a warehouse or similar environment; experience in inventory, wave planning, or customer service is helpful.
    3. Strong planning, organization, and multitasking skills.
    4. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
    5. Ability to follow procedures and work instructions; strong attention to detail.
    6. Effective verbal and written communication skills with professionalism.
    7. Ability to operate office equipment and computer systems (Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows) and learn customer software platforms.
    8. Ability to perform basic math calculations (addition, counting, subtraction, division, multiplication).

    Physical & Work Environment Demands

    • Regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and communicate clearly.
    • Frequently required to walk; occasionally required to stand.
    • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. occasionally.
    • Requires close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
    • Limited travel may be required to support business needs.
    • May require hours outside normal business operations to meet deadlines.

    Work Environment:

    • General office or warehouse (chemical and non-chemical) conditions.
    • Moderate office noise; warehouse environment may be louder.
